IX INTERNATIONAL SUSTENTAR CONGRESS: “GLOBAL INTELLIGENCE: AI, ENERGY, AND GOVERNANCE FOR THE FUTURE OF HUMANITY"
Submission, Paper Review, and Event Registration System
The 9th edition of the International Sustentar Congress will use a platform system for the submission and review of scientific papers, as well as for participant registration.
Accepted papers, including abstracts, extended abstracts, and full papers, will be published in the Congress Proceedings in digital format.
General Information – Paper Submission
Deadline for abstract submission: October 12, 2026.
Approved papers will be published in the Congress Proceedings.
➢ The author who submits the paper will be considered the Responsible Author and will be accountable for any inaccuracies regarding the spelling of coauthors’ names and authorization of coauthorship. Abstracts that do not comply with the established guidelines will not be edited and, consequently, will not be included in the program or publication.
➢ Each author may submit up to 2 (two) papers.
➢ At least one author or coauthor must be registered for the event with a paid registration.
➢ Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the Paper Submission Form available on the Congress website, following the required template formatting.
➢ Authors will receive confirmation of paper submission by email.
➢ The Proceedings of the 9th edition of the International Sustentar Congress 2026, containing simple abstracts, extended abstracts, and full papers, will be published in a special edition of the UniEnsino journal.
➢ In the Abstract Submission Form, authors must indicate the THEME TRACK in which the paper will be presented.
➢ Papers selected for online presentation will be determined by the Evaluation Committee, composed of professors appointed as reviewers.
Award
At the time of submission, the author may select the option to submit the paper according to the specifications of the theme tracks.

SIMPLE ABSTRACT
Simple abstracts must be submitted in Portuguese and sent electronically through the Abstract Submission Form available on the website, following the guidelines below:
– The paper must be formatted according to the Word template. See template – Link 1. The original text must be organized into Title, Authors, Abstract, and Keywords. The text must be written in Arial, size 12, justified, in a single paragraph, with single line spacing, and must contain a maximum of 250 (two hundred and fifty) words. It must include brief and concrete information about the justification, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the paper, without tables, equations, drawings, or figures.
– It must not include bibliographic references.
– The abstract must be presented in a single paragraph.
GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING THE EXTENDED ABSTRACT
The ABSTRACT may be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, or English and must be sent electronically through the Abstract Submission Form available on the website, following the guidelines below:
- The paper must be formatted according to the Word template. See template – Link 1. The original text must be organized into Title, Authors, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and References.
- The extended abstract must be at least three and no more than six pages long, including text, tables, and/or figures.
- The text must be formatted for A4 page size, with top and bottom margins of 3.0 cm and left and right margins of 2.5 cm. Arial font, size 12, justified, must be used. Line spacing must be 1.5.
- Citations of articles and references in the text must follow the current standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards – ABNT.
– Example in the body of the text: Soares (2019), Soares et al. (2016).
– Example at the end of a sentence: (Soares; Neto; Freire, 2024), (Assis et al., 2019).
- Citations from abstracts, publications in press, and personal communications are not accepted in the preparation of the extended abstract.
- The text must begin with the TITLE of the paper in uppercase letters, using Calibri font, size 12, bold, centered, with a maximum of 20 words.
- Immediately below the title, the Full Names of the Authors must appear, separated by semicolons, in Calibri font, size 12, centered, and written with only the first letters capitalized. A superscript Arabic numeral must be used after the last surname of each author to indicate the institutional address, including center, department, research centers, laboratories, research groups, and email address.
- Authors from the same institution must be grouped under a single index.
- The Abstract section must contain a maximum of 250 (two hundred and fifty) words, with brief and concrete information about the justification, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the paper. It must begin immediately below the word Abstract. It must not include bibliographic references. The Abstract must be presented in a single paragraph.
